Cold Sores.

Hello, I have a party this friday night and I just found a cold sore on my lip that has started. I really don't want it there on friday night. I have cream and some tablets but does anyone know any methods of covering it up or any methods of reducing the size?

Don't eat acidic foods.
Use an ice pack, it may reduce the swelling.

I've never actually had a cold sore, however, I'm 99% sure that following both of these will do you some benefit.

 

I think that may be a little too late?

Try buying some cold sore cream? My sister uses and it clears up within a few days, not sure of what it is specifically, though.

I don't get them frequently. Ill try put an ice-pack on it though.

Nah i don't think its too late. Because I have had them before, I know when there going to come up. I've been using cream however I just got the cold sore today.

Then run down and get some cold sore cream like john said, you have 3 days, plenty of time..
and ice pack will help too!
Also if you just put salt on it every day it should heal up pretty fast.

Those 3 combined you cant go wrong.

 

apple vinegar or something like that. Look it up it works in like a few hours, it did for me but mine was inside my mouth
