Just finished it. Damn, what an amazing Anime. I found it to be far better than Death Note for comparisons sake. Honestly, fucking awesome. What are people's thoughts on it? Also, what are your thoughts on the ending? I think Lelouch is alive, and is the person with C2 (CC) at the end riding the horse/cart.
Did you watch R2? It's a season two. I don't want to spoil anything until I can confirm you've watched the full thing.

Yea, I've finished it all. http://www.reddit.com/r/CodeGeass/comments/23dlp0/explanationconclusion_of_code_geass_ending/

If you like Code Geass I'm sure you will like Aldnoah.Zero Airs every Saturday new episode Saturday Mornings. If anyone finds a website to check previews for the next episode please link it here . I've been trying to find the previews for every new episode but apparently people post it a day before the new episode airs.
Code Geass was very enjoyable. You could definitely compare both characters Lelouch and Yagami Light as their personalities intertwine throughout the series.
I'm a anime ethuist and i rate code geass 8/10! It was really enjoyable... If anyone wants to know any animes to watch just message me! i've seen 100's and most genreas.
Spoiler: Code Geass Spoilers Code geass was a little iffy at times, and I personally hated how it ended. Why did Lelouch need to be the decoy in this whole debacle? Did he have to intentionally make everyone see him as the bad guy to get his wish? No. I think the only person in his way of getting his wish was Schneizel, and that was because he had a destructive mentality, and because he held Nunnally hostage. On the other hand, I do see why he died. Having geass is more of a curse than a blessing no matter how it's used. The person in control of it can become someone they're not, and in the eyes of Nunnally, it was something to be ashamed of, which is why he proceeded in assisted suicide. Back to my first point. Lelouch, could have easily gotten his wish if he merged Britannia with the Chinese Federation of Nations, thus cornering Schneizel into giving in. I think because Lelouch was destructive, Schneizel followed to fight fire with fire. Let's not forget that Lelouch is a narcissist in some ways, so it doesn't even surprise me in the slightest that he would make everyone hate him, just so he can become an infamous figure, never to be forgotten after this death. You should've used spoilers when talking about deaths. As to your question. Spoiler: More Spoilers No, I don't think he's alive. If he was alive, C2 wouldn't talk about him as if he was no longer living. It wouldn't logically make sense. You could provide any convincing evidence that may support that theory, but it doesn't cancel that the show heavily supports the notion that "The greatest wish a geass user can be granted is death". A geass user cannot find true happiness, because they're consumed by their power. Lelouch's death makes complete sense, and wouldn't make sense any other way.
Refer to: I think Lelouch is alive, and is the person with C2 (CC) at the end riding the horse/cart. http://www.reddit.com/r/CodeGeass/comments/23dlp0/explanationconclusion_of_code_geass_ending/ Actually explains that he achieved CODE GEASS. Makes total sense also. The final cart scene, they intentionally don't show his face, and you can see that C2 (CC) is talking to someone there; also can be seen by the way she tilts her head back. Remember, C2 can only talk to those not alive if those said people had the Geass power to live on, i.e, Marian. Lelouch doesn't have this. Also, remember that when Charles died, Lelouch obtained the Code (immortal).
It has been a while since i've seen it but i'm sure it was intended to be an open ending leaving the audience to decide. It's a good tragedy and would make sense for him to die because he was hated by everyone toward the end. He wanted to divert all the hatred away and die with it so everyone could be happy leaving everything up to Suzaku. Spoiler: I like happy endings so im on the he's alive side. That's why I have these saved. Fate/stay night is the story after fate/zero. Careful cause there's a one from 2006 that's pretty bad. Newest is fate/stay night ubw with the second season coming soon. There's also a lot others that are different timelines like fate/kaleid liner prisma
Honestly, in comparison to Death Note, Code Geass to me is far better. Prob one of the best animes. Can even call it a masterpiece.
started watching this. The guys are like very tall and thin and their hands are very long. Wtf is wrong with the animation and drawings?
