Clue Scrolls in general

So yea as you can guess I'm Clue Scrolls fanatic, and this thread is basically for general talks about Clue Scrolls ( I couldn't find one ) but I will also try to find out every detail about Clue Scrolls and answer the question is it even woth doing.

You can always find me in W301 either in Varrock palace, H.A.M HQ or Jellies.

Rewards:
After selling every stuff I got I made 5.85M. I added 300K from various items I was rewarded like adamant armour, food, runes.

Conclusion:

As we can see I made about 117K per 1 Clue scroll. I could say that makes 250k gp/hr. I personally really recommend killing Varrock guards since you can merch at the same time (very good spot).

Advices:

* When pickpocketing H.A.M members wear full H.A.M robe set. It increases succesful pickpocket chances.
* Always carry extra food to offer for lyra charges.

 

I really enjoyed Clue Scrolls when I played... I never got lucky enough to get third age, but I got plenty of good clues, my best being Robin Hood Hat early on in 07.

lvl 3 scrolls are the way to go

 

Well from the reward sides of course lvl 3 are the best, but adding up all the time you spend looting and doing it, I guess lvl 3 isnt the best choice. Prove me I am wrong please.

 

I'm pretty sure lvl1 clues have the best gp/hr ratio, unless of course you get third age from a lvl 3.

Level 1 are the easiest to earn medium-sized chunks of money from (Zammy pages, basically), but the consistent rune items and chance of third age make level 3's easily my favorites as well as my most consistent profits.

 

Allright exams are over I can now play again haha will keep updated. Will try to finish 50 lvl 2 clues

 

They're really not worth it.

I mean, I always do 3 clues and never get anything decent.

Like ever.

 

Would be interesting to calculate the average profit per clue once you're finished/had enough of clue scrolling . Keep us up to date.

 

I don't even mess around with clues. Usually a waste of my time. And I only have a 1def pure account =/

 

Updated, done with lvl 2 Clue scrolls moving on to lvl 1

 

Never really been into clue scrolls myself but would like to indulge in the bitter sweet taste of my luck

 

Seems like you're really lucky with your clues! Try getting a level 3, you might actually get third age everytime lol.

not the best gp/hour but if you enjoy them, then its cool. Always nice having a chance of third age
