No idea your price range, but something like this might be good. (HDD not included) https://www.amazon.com/Annke-8-Chan...5582983&sr=1-6&keywords=security+cameras&th=1
You should consider using IP cameras. The power and data is in a single cable. Even wireless cameras require power cable - so wireless alternative is pointless. IP camera's are powered by pretty cheap routers which have "PoE" functionality. PoE means Power over Ethernet. Then, you can connect to your PoE router from anywhere (internet, another computer, etc) to record or view.
Exactly. In my area I have 6 IP outdoor cameras, which I think are the best ones compared to wireless cameras. Currently I'm using 4 FOSCAM IP CAMERAS ( Foscam FI9903P - these ones are the newest with HD 1080P High Resolution, mine are almost 2 years old 640x480p ), 2 wide angle IP cameras - (https://www.amazon.com/Foscam-FI996...e=UTF8&qid=1481410363&sr=1-16&keywords=foscam) and a Network Video Recorder - http://foscam.com/product/48.html This set was perfect 2-3 years ago, but nowadays technology is moving way too fast...the new features are really worth my money and I'm going to upgrade equipment as soon as possible.
