Try the cownap technique of gambling/staking. Start with 5M when you reach 15M go to the bank and put 5M in. Now you have 10M to do whatever with and you can't lose money from the time you started.

I recently got cleaned myself and it taught me a valuable lesson which is never to be greedy. As soon as your up by a certain margin, leave and never spend more than what you originally had. Sorry to hear about your loss but I hope it taught you something.
