Cigarettes

I'm 15 years old, last night, I don't even know why, but I smoked one last night, It was very...Different. I woke this morning, I have'nt really had any urges to smoke another one, I mean, I did, but they were very small and very easy for me to say no to. mean, this does'nt make me a bad person right? I'm not going to smoke another one, because If i got hooked, I would'nt want to waste my money on them, and plus, it's not like it was marijuana right? Feedback please.

 

if it was just one who really cares you know. its really not that big of a deal. personally i would rather want to smoke marijuana cause you get something out of it. but thats me...

 

Your very stupid. I'm sorry for being so blunt but you are. You should never start because you never know if your going to get hooked. Luckily you didn't, but what if you woke up this morning and you were? Everyone is different and you never know until you already are. Don't do it, it will ruin your life, trust me I know people that are so fucked up now.

 

I've been smoking for like 4 years now.

I don't necessarily smoke because I'm addicted, although that is obviously a part of it, but I smoke because I enjoy the art of it. Just smoking in general makes me happy.

It could be anything from a cigarette to a hookah.

 

You can do what you want, I'm not telling you that you CANT. I just wanted to ask, what the hell is the art of smoking? Destroying your lungs?

 

The art of smoking is just smoking. Inhaling smoke and blowing it out. It infatuates me, it relaxes me.

 

Just think what you want, and then what you need to do to get it.

Smokeing is your choice not anyone else's, the law should mean nothing, they are just words. Why shouldnt people under 18 not be able to smoke?

 

I mean, I did'nt necesarily do it to make me look cool, I just wanted to see what it was like, thankfully, I'm not hooked and most likely will not do it again. Thanks for all the feedback =]

 

I doubt just one could get you hooked, but a hell of a lot of people like to use that as an "excuse". Underaged people pretty much look stupid when they smoke.

First time I ever tried it, I think I was 14, and currently I'm 17, and I still don't smoke, and I'm deffently not planning on it.

 

Lol, you msut be kidding me, you have to smoke atleast a pack over a certain time period to become addicted.. and no god drank? why the heck would you be a bad person for smoking.

 

WRONG. You could smoke one and get addicted. Did you even read his post? He said he woke up and felt a need to smoke one, but it wasn't that big of an urge. THAT IS THE BEGINNING OF AN ADDICTION, and saying you need to smoke at least a pack just shows how little you know. (Not trying to sound mean, just pointing out your mistake)

 

No your not a bad person, everyone tries it at somepoint. And i think marijuana smoke is alot less worse than cigarettes. If you don't believe me try and smoke a cigarette like you would smoke weed, it will hurt.

 

Cigs are bad for you and stink, I don't know how people can like them.

 

All teenagers try them eventually, and most teenagers do weed too, but it's not a big deal. I'm 15 and I haven't done one yet, and don't plan on doing it because it would be hard to hide from my parents since the smells stays on for a long time and your breath smells bad.

Seriously though, don't do weed because it's expensive and people say it isn't addicting but I have some friends who do it that are obsessed with it lol. Just don't do it and don't try it. It's simple to not do it.

And really I don't think you did it to look cool, you probably did it to experemint on what it would do to you and how it would feel. The reason I say this is because I myself have been thinking about smoking one and maybe drinking a beer just to see how it feels, not to look cool.

 

I love the smell of certain cigarettes. Most of my friends do smoke, and I've sure as hell been tempted to smoke one, but I haven't smoked a full one before (but I have mixed tobacco with Marijuana, it gets you alot higher).

 

I'm not here to judge you but I personally hate cigarettes. I have friends that smoke and it irritates the hell out of me. I would HIGHLY suggest not doing that again

 

I've smoked before, but I haven't gotten anywhere near addicted. Anyway, if you just planned on trying it once, then what's the big deal?

 

I'm sure we've all lit one up before. It's relaxing, but the consequences of getting caught smoking underage isn't worth it at all.

I'm sure he's seen the videos, the statistics, all the facts. The point is, if someone wants to smoke, you should let them.

All of you people saying "duhr duhr smaoking bad!!!", your just like any fundamentalist, narrow-minded person. You are taught one thing and you regurgitate your beliefs the second the issue comes up.

I don't smoke but as long as I don't have to breathe it in, I don't care.

And you are not a bad person for trying it, but you should perhaps think more carefully before you pursue those types of things in the future.
