Challenge map

Does any one have ay original ideas for a challenge map? Do challenge map creators use a program? Or build them by hand?

 

Usually build them by hand, because, you can put in so many more details to it.

 

You can use a program that will let you modify the physics in Minecraft and add different keys/doors/bosses

I will be making a maze/obstacle course soon, it'll take me a couple of days to complete it but I'll make it awesome. I'll use pistons as booby traps and things like that.
