Car comparisons.

I need something dependable for work and college.

Budget is in between 5 and 7 thousand.

I've looked into a few already, these are cars/trucks I like.

Mazda6
2000 & later Chevy Colorado/Silverado
2004 Mustang
2000 & later VW Passat/Jetta
Saab 9-3/9-5

Things that are understood;

Foreign engines hold up better, as they're one solid piece.

The Mustang is RWD, and is easier to work on if it ever needs repairs.

If something on a Swedish or German car breaks, it's going to cost an arm and a leg to repair.

I need practical discussion, not "American muscle all the way! mustang ftw."

 

Buy a pinto, yellow.

Great gas mileage.

 

definatly first option, but only consider the Mazda 6.
