    Can't compile...

Well, first off, let me say that I am knew to doing any kind of coding. But now to the actual problem; whenever I try to compile any kind of script it gives me the following error:
    Code:
There doesn't seem to be GNU Make file in PATH or in Dev-C++'s Bin path. Please make sure GNU Make and adjust Bin setting system path environment variable and that make setting in compiler option contains correct filename, otherwise you will not be able to compile anything.
What does this mean? How do I fix it so I can start compiling?

You probably didn't download the compiler itself. When you get DevCpp, make sure include MinGW.

You don't have a makefile. You don't really need one until you're doing quite big projects with automated installers, just use GCC.
