can someone explain

how junk trades work?

 

Person A has useless items that have worth according to jagex. (unstrung bows for example) He trades them to Person B for their G.E. value. Person B just transferred GP to Person A.

Say a level 3 with 500 willow longbow (u)'s (72-76gp ea) put them up in a trade. The benefactor (account with money) will just buy whatever junk the level 3 has and skip away.

 

oh, ok.

 

It's not technically 'transferring' but when you sell things like willows or longbows (u) that nobody buy it can work nicely.

 

Yea, it works with anything you can get cheaply that no one buys really. If people bought it, there would be no point to paying someone to buy it, which is basicly what you are doing, paying someone to buy stuff which no one else will.

 

Anyone know something that doesn't take long to get? Cause using unstrung bows is basically like skilling :S
