Actually... Certain Codes only work for Certain Countries.. I live in England.. so if i went and got a code from a shop and gave it to someone who lives in canada for example.. it would not work for them**

 

must of been a microsoft points card. Microsoft points card work only in the country you buy it from. However Xbox live memberships such as the 12 month work worldwide
