Retire at 50? That's a pretty damn low bar to set. Try retire at 25 or younger. And college is a pretty good path to get there. Or in-depth self education. So no college is not a requirement, it's a good option.

Having a job isn't really job experience unless you plan to make a career out of factory working. And you are not getting good pay for the job you are doing. I personally would put your job at the same level as Mcdonalds. This isn't bad necessarily, but not something to brag about.

You have a very teenage mind, everyone doesn't understand you and you know everything. But we are actually letting you know (from experience in my case) some useful nuggets of information.

Building your future on a business that basically sells illegal stuff (i.e. selling rsgp is illegal per jagex's terms) will eventually catch you in the long run.

there will come a day where you will be big enough that jagex will see it worthwile to pursue legal actions towards your business, I just hope you take this into consideration and save up some of that profit towards paying legal fees incase such scenario happens.

Also, as others posted, selling RSGP isn't something you will be doing for 10-15 years so why not use this opportunity that you have right now and get an higher education in a field you like while still running your business.

Since all of you elitists believe going to college is the messiah of life do everyone a favor. Go to google and search how many people go to college and dont end up with jobs in their chosen fields. A large portion of students go to school and bury themselves in thousands of debt. Most end up with every day jobs working for companies that feel they are over qualified for the position. Now you get to pay back 100k in tuition debt or ruin your credit for life. Now im not saying everyone goes through this process but a larger percentage then most of you realize do. If you did wonderful in school and got a free ride then more power to you. I hope everything works out but dont roast a kid for being successful and landing a nice gig at a decent company. Its his first real job and will look great in the future.

 

unless you're a fucking retard with both parents being brother and sister, if you work hard in school you will be able to do somewhat 'wonderful' in school. wouldn't consider being paid 14$/hr a 'nice gig at a decent company' tbh. It's 'Ok' but certainly not something you should look forward to keeping for the rest of your life.

 

This is very true too and a trade is always a great alternative but warehousing doesn't really lead to a great path, the warehouses I worked in before were very demotivating and in my opinion aren't the best environments to work in. No disrespect to anyone who works in a warehouse but there's a lot of better alternatives if you are willing to commit to it.

 

Hattez is right. College isn't a be-all and end-all situation. Plenty of people go and are successful and plenty of people don't go and are successful. Every single person's road in life is completely different from that of someone else. I mean, who really gives a damn if what bus is doing isn't what you'd do? Bus is happy, and for him, that's what matters at this point in time. It's important to plan ahead, but shit, I think he gets the picture.

Haha! It's so funny you say that. I've struggled to find my purpose in life and the only thing I've ever enjoyed is helping others be successful. I have been seriously considering trading everything in to be a life coach/mentor.

College definitely isn't all that. Education is all that. Become educated and find high paying work based on that education.
