Bursting Monkeys

For bursting monkeys on Ape Atoll, would it be better to use mystic, prayer robes, or void? I am 45 def so Ahrim's is not an option.

Void=accuracy, so yes go with void.

Tip:bring a ring of life, you never know when the world can Dc.

I too, would go for void armour.. All about that 5% accuracy.

 

Done a few trips, mystic did more damage per cast than void.

 

When you go bursting anywhere you always want the max "attack" bonus that you can get, so wear void, due to it's percentage boost to your max hit, mages book, and whatever amulet currently gives the most magic bonus, best mage boots, and ancient staff.

 

Void did less damage per cast than mystic. It's likely that the +30% accuracy only applies to the one that you are targeting, since pre-EoC the damage boost only did.

For anything like this, the debate would always be about whether to use Max Mage or Void.

With your Defence, you can't use max mage gear, so you only have the Void option left.

 

Void didn't do as much damage per cast as mystic, ahrim's top and bottom isn't actually that much more mage bonus. Like I said, I'm not sure if the 30% accuracy applies to multiple targets.
