Bumping Post Offense

Hi everyone,

Today my thread was locked for accidentally bumping my thread within the 4-hour time period. It wasn’t my intention to double-bump my post as I was thanking someone for an offer. In the future I’ll be more cautious of this rule and wait my 4-hour time period between bumps.

Is it really necessary to lock my thread for 7 days?

Had this been a single instance of excessive bumping, you would have received an infraction and nothing else. If there are 3 or more instances of excessive bumping, your thread is locked for a week.
