Btc Issues

Last night I was going to sell AIO 500m worth of gold for btc

We agreed that he would go first in two increments.

He sent the money, and his circle account says the transaction was completed. I've seen the picture.

However the btc did not come to my address, nor did it even register on the blockchain that it was coming to my address. There are 0 transactions with the btc address I gave him.

What do I do in this situation? And how do we make sure that neither of us get screwed over? I haven't given him any of the gold yet because I was advised to wait for the blockchain to give me a confirmation.

 

When he "sent" it it should appear for you as unconfirmed. If it didn't then he could have shown u fake proof of sending it

 

Ya, he tried ripping you off.

 

There's easy ways to edit site pages and make it look legit. Did you screenshare him and did he refresh the page etc? It sounds like he was trying to scam you

inspect element.. Shake my head the kid has had his account/site up for a while I thought he was legit.

 

I'm glad that he didn't pay him anything he was threatening to report him for scamming lol

The picture he took was from his phone, no I didn't screenshare. I offered to use an MM and linked him to two that were online, he said he'd rather do increments and disappeared for a few hours. Then he came back and said he'd go first in increments but the money he supposedly sent never crossed the blockchain.

 

K if you don't see the money in your wallet with confirmations, you shouldn't send any money or gold etc

Same with PayPal and other things

 

Blockchain.info is sometimes slow.

I've really only experienced one delay, it was about a 10 minute wait for the tx id to show up

It's interesting considering i never received gold and i was the one going first in the trade. No individuals were scammed except that i had lost 47.50$ during the transaction. It's nice to read the bashful messages accusing me of scamming when i went first, i have more than enough proof to verify the amount sent also. I have not yet filed a scam report on Floridian as i have not been able to get in contact with Circle to see what went wrong.

Interesting how quick people start accusing when they don't even know anything about the damn situation, jesus.
