bottingvps down?

been waiting 5 Days for it to be UP, they said it could take 5 hours and its 5dasys?? wdf are they scammers? if i open ticket they wont respond either..

 

I heard FragVPS is pretty good

 

Honest opinion here,

I paid $400 to this site a year ago for a 1 bot farm. This included a yr of a VPS and an account. I was spending quite a lot just furnishing the account and started to expand. At one point I had 10 VPS's running. I quit running the bot farm once EoC started coming closer. I broke even on the whole deal by luckily selling the gold.

However, I cancelled all my VPS's and know what happened? My 1 account that was included in the package had it's password changed (They refused to change the email to my own.) and they won't answer me on Skype now. Also that VPS that should have lasted me 12 months, lasted about 5 months.

If you paid in paypal, I'd dispute it. Unfortunately, I paid with Western Union. I use FragVPS now. I like them a lot.

 

I don't understand the benefit of this versus using your own computer.

 

Running many bots simultaneously that you couldn't do with your normal computer and without having to keep your computer on.

 

Have you been able to run Tribot in FragVPS? I bought their Pro package today and have been getting a blank screen in the client when I try to open RS, the guy on live chat support insisted this was being worked on and said that they've contacted Trilez about it.

 

Always on bot - £5 a month VPS bill versus the lekkie bill from leaving my laptop on all day and night for a month?

Or people buy more expensive packages than can handle quite a few bots that their own hardware would struggle with.

Aaaaand lets me bot in the background all the time without my fiance being all 'you're always looking at that computer just turn it off for once!' >_>

Oh and I can check my bots from tablet + phone when i'm at work/classes without having to leave an always on VNC server running on my own computer as a security risk...

Yes, TRiBot working flawlessly from inside a FragVPS without any fiddling or modification. Granted I started the client up before this current 'ddos attack' and havn't closed in yet - so maybe thats related...

 

I'm having that problem right now on my normal computer mate.

 

I recommend buying a vps from a proven provider and setting it all up yourself. Cheaper and more reliable. Recently purchased a 4gb RAM vps for 8 dollars a month and it has worked flawlessly so far. Found it on lowendbox.

The whole "runescape botting" VPS providers sounds so gimmicky, I've never understood why people rented them.

 

Yes, FragVPS has been working for me. I had some problems with frag in the beginning but it's shown to be a pretty reliable VPS. The interface you can reboot your VPS from is a lot different than bottingvps so you have to give it a little time to understand it.
