    botting computer- £700 budget

After doing some research into the botting market and receiving help from this forum, I've decided to set up a small gold farm.

The current computer I use is used by my whole family, so I would be unable to run it for prolonged periods of time.

I have £700 to work with, which is $1131.
All advice is welcomed, I've never taken on anything like this before.

Should it not be worth investing £700 into a botting computer, this project will be discarded.
Due to the current conditions of the market, I'm not even sure this would be profitable or worth my time, however i'll post this up anyway and see what you guys think.

    Anyway - help?

Unless you will be running bots that make 1m+/hr then I just do not see this idea as a plausible one. Months ago it would have been good when gold was $1/m but since then, botting just cannot make the money it used to.

I'd be using bots with lower ban rates, and most likely using scripts like Kminer etc.

If a few more people feel the same way I'll close this, thanks for advice though :)

Might be worth waiting for Windows 8 before you buy a new computer anyway?

Windows 8 looks dumb tbh, and it's probably not going to be out for a while. You don't really need $1000 to spend on a computer that'll be used just for botting. Get a computer with a good processor and 6-8 gigs of ram and you should be good.

Any idea when windows 8 is actually coming out? When they bring a new windows out it always has a lot of glitches... So that may be a little too long.

Yeah I realize that, I just stated that's the max I can do. Any suggestions for sites?

    Why?
First of all, if it comes out, you can easily download it..
Second of all, hasn't the pas shown that the later version of Windows you have the more RAM and CPU it uses?

My advice would be: Buy a laptop. I'm using a laptop for some casual botting and a lot of other stuff. Buy a good laptop to run lots of bots at the same time. For 700 pounds(!) you can get a really good laptop, just look around!

    Good Luck!

You do relise that it is pointless to run bots on your computer for 24 7 as your electricity bill will council out your profits, your better off buying a decent vps...
Pay somthing around $60 annually for a 4-6gb ram depends where from which can hold 8-10bots where ull make profit on.
    -- some working out --
    1 LRC miner = 100-180k P/H
    5 LRC miner's = 500-800k P/H
31 x 24 = 744 (you wont be botting for that many hours due to bans / bot timing out ) so lets say 650hours
    650 x 500000 (500k) = 325000000 (325M) x 0.45 = 146.25 ($146) = $70-100 profit.

    Follow my sig for a 4GB ram vps for 58 - $7 for promo code = $51.
Can hold up to 10 bots if setup correctly which i can help with :)

lol your crazy I just bought a computer for 350 usd from the sounds of things it can run about 10-15 bots [ thats using nexus scripts] so even only making 2 mill a day per bot thats 5-7 dollars a day 2 dollars a day for electricity , then 25-50 cents each day for their membership 2 dollars to pay for your internet bill if you have it and your then making 2 dollars a day doing absolutely nothing with a computer like the one you can afford I could see you getting 25-35 bots out of it which is a bit of profit for doing nothing if you ask me and totally worth it if you got the dough.

Are you stupid? I have a $1,400 custom i7 laptop with 8 gigs ram and hardware upgrades and I can run a MAX of 12 bots. You have no idea what you're talking about.

I would have to disagree i use an AMD Phenom II X4 955 with 6 gigs of ddr3 ram and a EVGA GeForce GTX 460 and i can run 16 bots at once and still browse the web. Intel Sucks, you pay for the name.

Yes Frank0929, that makes a slight difference.

FORUMS MANIC, I'm not sure how that's possible, but if you say so.

Sounds to me like not only did you get ripped off but you are a idiot as well.

for 350 I bought a amd 3.6 GHz quad core processor with 8 GB.

You can most definitely get that many bots out of it that all you have to do is:

    1. run unsigned

2.put ur global to the far right

    3. run in the 450 ram mode

    4. last but not least you can take away all your visuals if you run any windows as this sucks a bot out of your computer

the computer I am on now has 512 ram and is a 2.0 ghz and can run a nexus bot and a rsbuddy bot or epic bot with little lag. perhaps you should lrn2computer

cooling makes no difference other than it wont overheat so you can max out and it wont stress your rig. about the only thing that will give you better reactions is a better power supply [ if not efficient enough]

2 your second statement it's possible because A. you don't know how to setup your bots\computer. B. you don't know a lot about computers. and C. as maniac said you buy the name Intel sucks a 2.0 amd runs usually on the same level as a 3.0 Intel.

Droppin' Pl8's, you failed to read my original post. I have a laptop, not computer. 12 bots on a laptop is far above average. In terms of a PC, 15-20 bots with his particular specifications is questionable. I look forward to that video, FORUMS MANIC. Please message me when you've posted a link, thanks. :)

I don't much care about your lap top I was refering to my desktop in which you said that had no chance to run the amount of bots I specified which I just gave you all the info to do so. your lap top could run more bots as well but would have a much shorter life span. and if you would like I to can post a vid of all the bots I'll have up just as soon as I get my computer this next week. I have checked around to get a pretty precise reading on how much cpu and ram nexus and other bots take up and I am sure I can get the amount specified if not 1 or 2 more.
