Bot Question - Signed/Unsigned

Okay whenever I open the rsbots client I usually see two of all the scripts I have. One says signed and the other says unsigned. I always use signed but what's the difference between the two?

 

All I know is signed is 100x faster than unsigned.

I think it has something to do with your IP. Like the sign shows your IP has logged in on that account. I'm not 100% sure though.

 

I heard that as well. But I am not 100% sure. I know people say to NEVER use more than 1 account on signed.
