Blocking IP

I have heard from some sources that jagex may actually block your IP after continuous account bans from the same IP (resulting in main acc's being banned along with bots). Is this true?

If it is, does anyone know how to block your IP from jagex? I have heard of some programs such as TOR, however I have tested these and jagex's java IP detection can completley bypass it.

 

Hm, if you're caught using a bot, every account from your IP address will be banned. That's what I've read like a year ago from a JaGeX update.

Jagex IP bans. Look on the main website or any RuneScape tip websites. You get IP banned if you do something really bad.

 

And how much do you know about the rs cheating world?

Jagex can ip ban but I doubt you'll experience that.

 

Say im using bots, and get many accounts banned, would you think they would IP ban, or ban my main? Im only using the bots to mine iron.

 

It's said that Jagex have done bans witch involves getting every account on your IP banned. No one is really sure how the system works.
A theory would be that if accounts are caught banned, the system checks the other accounts from the same IP more detailed.
