Black Friday

Hello I believe we all know what Black Friday is. For those of you who don't know its a day where 80 year old lady's duke it out in front of the whole world to see.

So my question to Sythe is, are you doing any Black Friday shopping, if so where, if not why not (and don't post the economy or the CIA will be monitoring this and come to your house and do horrible things to you).

My Self: Going to try to bum some money off my brother and head to the interwebz and try to find some good deals at Tigerdirect they usually have great deals outside of the holiday season so I'm hoping I'm pleased tomorrow.

but otherwise, yes i agree, i will try to do some xmas shopping, maybe buy something for my girlfriend, and my parents, etc..

ok. i've heard some stories from friends getting stuff for free, as someone bought it, it didnt work, they gave it to my friend, he returned it to the store, got $ 150 cash for a microwave that wasnt his lollololol

 

Personaly I wish I was with my friends, they stand in line infront of best buy (from 11pm) and then they sell there spots for $70 a pop, after that they leave. They have done it the past few years, I have to work in the morning meaning I cant...

 

Err is this an American thing or something? I've never heard of it.

 

I'm not doing much myself but I'll probably go to a few stores.

My friends are camping out at Walmart. I believe they are buying a TV.

 

Yeah, Black Friday (the day after thanksgiving) marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season, stores put on special deals to get the people interested in their products, this year because of the credit crunch they try to bundle things to make you spend your money. The old lady's thing came from when I saw a 60 year old woman jack another girl in the face for the last $40 DVD player that was on sale (6am Black Friday 2006 Wal-mart in a undisclosed small town in Missouri)

 

Lol i'd knock that old lady on her ass if she did that to me. I don't give a shit about their age, if they are dumb enough to punch me then they can accept a KO.

Sounds fun though, wish Australia has it. Our specials are nothing compared to America. Our specials are like "OMFG $5 OFF THIS $1000 TV!!! SO IT'S NOW $995. BARGAIN!!!!!"

 

black friday in L.A is kind of rediculous so no i don't shop

 

I'm waking up at 6 tomorrow for this fucking day... Bleh. But it'll be fun I guess. I don't do much shopping

 

I dont see the point in waking up so early. If i had some money, i would most likely be in line already lol.

I wish we had something like that here in the Netherlands. I would save up cash all year and buy alot of crap I don't than.
