Bitcoin Confirmation Time/ Struggles

Bitcoin's transaction limit has reached the highest it can go.


Bitcoin confirmations are now taking anywhere from 10 minutes-24 hours.


I just tried sending myself 0.5 btc from my blockchain-> coinbase wallet, it took ~ 5 hours for 3 confirmations.


Evidently this is why their taking so long.


Also bitcoin tanked $25 in the matter of 30 minutes.


Sold my coins at $420 and watched it dropped from there ._.

 

damn usually takes me 10+ mins when sending from circle to something else

 

Btc should rise. But i use a desktop wallet and that takes like 10min to confirm /:

 

Once the transactions routinely take hours to complete, is when Bitcoin (Core) dies IMHO.

There is no widespread utility in something taking hours to confirm and having the chance to fail. Business nowadays is defined by how many milliseconds transactions take, not hours.

Of course, their use in the purchasing of illicit goods will always be present unless a better option comes along.

 

The more people start to use BTC the longer the transactions will take.

Blockchain can only process 8 transactions per second.

 

I've noticed it's been so slow recently aswell, really getting on my nerves.
