BF3 Origin help

I just bought a BF3 Disc from the local store. I'm done installing it, and im just installing the updates. Is there a way I can play the campaign without the updates? When I click "Play now without updates" it just opens battlelog. Anybody can help me?

 

No, I'm pretty sure you have to open up Battlelog in order to run BF3. I'm pretty sure the campaign uses the updates anyway. Download all the updates and then just run through the campaign via the web browser. If you find the updates are quite a big size for you, then you can just leave your PC to download overnight and it is usually done by the morning.
