What do you run? I would assume Windows, right? ~ I only ask because Video editing softwares vary by platform half the time.

Sony Vegas is one of the few go-tos.

The next is Adobe Photoshop's version of video editing. And you could also grab C4D for intros/extros that can be exported to Adobe/Vegas (if I remember correctly). C4D has some pretty wicked effects, as does Adobe.

I think I have a set of effects somewhere for one of them... Lemme see if I can find it.
It's for C4D: "Video Copilot"... Note: The files are huge (well over 10GB) - but they're "higher end" effects.

I recommend getting the Adobe cs5 Master Suite.

Combining Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere you get some great results. And the fact that they all have project support means you can jump between the programs and make changes to a single project instantaneously.

Slightly off topic but, why CS5 over CS6? And running these with Cinema 4D (which I'm sure you can find as well), creates even better enhanced effects.

This is just examples of some of the things you can do with C4D... and these are the really basic ones... If you get to more advanced graphics they get insane.

This one used C4D & After Effects:

    Best video editing software.

    Ok to make it simple.

    C4D Will make 3D Animation
After Effects will make Flares, Particles ect.
Sony Vegas will get everything in order very simply.

Most editors will use C4D and After Effects to make the best creations.
