Best things about E3?

What in your opinion is the best thing on E3 yet?
Mine is that halo 4 is coming in 2012!!!

 

What the hell is E3? Is it like a game company or something?

 

E3 is an electronics 'convention' that is held every year (I think), usually big console and game announcements are made, so it's all very exciting stuff.

EDIT: I think that's right, if he means the live thing anyway.

 

EA has the most exciting conference so far. Microsofts was too "kinecty".

 

I liked the Ghost Recon kinect thing the best.

 

Microsofts was great! I can't wait to see what else the voice implementation, and community apps could bring!

Apple was interesting, but not exciting. (wwdc, not e3)

 

I'm predicting Halo 4 is going to be a flop. It seems rushed, and it will be the first game for the new 343 or whatever it is. Halo anything would be a tough first game to make now that the series is giant.

The Halo anniversary might be nice, but it seems like it will play like reach (I despise that game, I don't know why).

As for the kinect, if you notice in most of those games, you can't move. You just stand there and shoot fireballs (Fable). Starwars kind of got around it by lunging everytime you attack.

Okay enough of my rant. GRAW looks amazing and I really like how Xbox is trying to make the Kinect work, I really am looking forward to the rest of E3.

 

Definitely agree on the halo comment. The last one was lacking alot of what halo 3 had.

Personally looking forward to the new GTA.

I was excited to see more about Star Wars TOR and Elder Scrolls Skyrim.

I'm excited for tomorrow to see Nintendo's new console too.

 

New PSP is kick-ass. I am most definitely looking forward to this.

 

By far, I am looking forward to TES:Skyrim the most. It looks absolutely AMAZING. The graphics look fucking incredible, especially on a PC. Also, I was much more impressed with BF3 than I was with MW3.. but maybe that's just me.

Halo CEA will most likely be pretty sweet, but the multiplayer will be exactly like Reach's with different maps, so fuck that. Halo 4 will more than likely be a fail. The people working on the game are experienced though, for those who doubt that a new studio can take it on. There's a very large number of old Bungie employees at 343 Studios.. they know what they're doing. I just don't know where they could possibly take the story that would make it anywhere near as enveloping as the original 3. Halo 4 was pushing it, I thought.. I can't believe they're bringing a new trilogy? Halo 6.. I can't even imagine it. We'll see.

 

The battlefield 3 video blew me away (literally) and I was quite impressed with the new Far cry game although it looks a bit like more of the same. I'm mostly looking forward to seeing the SWTOR video later on tonight. I've never really been a fan of halo so I got nothing to say there

 

It was really awesome, but I'm still looking forward to MW3. Both games are gonna own

 

SW:ToR - so glad that they finally gave a prediction for release date and Skyrim. Highly awaiting both games, already pre ordered skyrim.

Halo looked nice...i guess saints row (if it was in e3) looks pretty gay, saints row 2 was shit....

They talked about The Bulldozer from AMD. They say that it'll be better than S/B.

 

I don't think Halo 4 is going to be as good as the first one, Combat Evolved. Mainly for one reason, Bungie didn't make it, which is why it's so good. Two and three, plus the expansions all lack the feel that the first one had.
