obviously not 1 def, so didn't consider it even slightly impressive. Figured someone would just claim I used mage or a hally.

Account was 99 def and 70 prayer. Rune knives, verac helm and skirt, proslyte top, holy book, trimmed theiving cape, regen, stole, snake boots, archers ring. ~800 sweets and 27 restores. I can assure you it's possible if you feel like wasting 5 hours of your life

 

70 +ranged is a must. man

 

no it is not... I've done capes with pure melee and pure mage. You can easily do a cape with 50+ range if you have sufficient stats and gear.
