Best free bot that I have ever used is Scar.
I can give you a few sites that still use it / update frequently.

Scar isn't the best but from my experience, it's okay.

 

i would say that the autofighter is the best free bot

what i have found with my year of botting is when i tried botting with "free" bots the ban rate is much higher then that of the "paid" bots just saying i have gotten my pure to 99 str and havent had one infraction

I mean thats kinda the point, you wouldnt be paying for a bot that has a high ban rate would you?

 

When did you last try it?
I've heard and seen it improving.

 

A month ago or so, if it's improving, I would love to try it again but from my last experience, not really.

 

Autofighter all the way

 

I use Quirlion and RSBot, as I don't really care what bot is used, I script my own scripts. I don't need to depend on other scripters

 

Yeah, I scripted a few of my own, too. =) I just find it's so much easier to suit them to you're own needs.

I don't edit other scripts either, because it'd end up me having to re-script all of it, so it'd be a waste of time.

Another reason is that, instead of having to wait for the developer to 'update' you can update it yourself!
