    Yeah I loved his voice. He was by far my favorite character, which is why I was so disappointed with his death. He just got blown away and that was the end of it. Tom Hardy is just awesome and did an excellent job playing Bane.

    I guess, but I've never cared for the comics really and Nolan clearly doesn't either and aims more towards realism. I would much rather have a great actor like Tom Hardy, than someone like Robert Swenson in the 1997 Batman and Robin film. Just my opinion though.

    I also don't think the venom is what made him so strong, but more to keep the pain under control. In the TDKR, it says that most of his strength came from training with the League of Shadows. I'm not sure if that's completely correct in the comics though.
