Bans and other things

Have you been banned? If so, post what you botted, where you botted and what script to use. I will then create a list, so we can avoid more bans.

 

I have been botting with different VPS and IPs by my own network and has never been banned. I have got over 100-130 accounts botting.

 

Not a very good idea, there are 100s of scripts out there, and just because someone gets banned doesn't mean it's the script's fault, could be user error.

Just bot 'normal' hours and as you would if you were playing legit. Don't abuse scripts or bots and monitor them for a while to make sure that they work properly and are human-like, also make sure randoms are solved properly or at least that they log out if they mess up.

A thread like this isn't a very plausible thing to make, but thanks for trying to help .

On top of that people can just look at a script's thread and read though it to get an idea of how good/popular/reliable it is.

 

I can't even count on two hands how many bans I've gotten

3 from Powerbot (Mining Guild, Yew Cutter, Steel Bar Maker)
3 from RSBots.net (Tea Stall & 2x Sorc Garden)
1 from RSBotting (Perfecticus Autofighter in TzHaar)
6 from RSBuddy (6x Sorc Garden)

So yeah, 13 bans total (that I can remember)

 

Well, I've used a paid Graahk scripts for months on 5 accounts and got a minor ban after like, half a year (on nexus, old bot).

However, when botting F2p, you should stay vigilant, I got 8 accs banned within a few hours from not checking them, also I was using free scripts (chicken/cow killer, wc'ing)

I'd recommend checking on the quality of the scripts your using beforehand.
