Banned.

So, I have one offence. for offensive language. I said my email in chat to a friend and some douche reported me. No black marks apart from this.

Is this a perm bannable offence? ps this account was banned in 2007 and only just checked recently got reappealabe. It wasn't autoed on and was completely legit.

 

No it is not a perm ban-able offence.

Although i think if you have like 3 mutes that are denied you get a ban.

 

IMO its honestly all luck mate. Ive sent an appeal saying 'CHICKEN' hunders of times to fill the letter and they accepted it.

Its all a load of shit, just luck i'd say.

 

You will get it. I just got 3 accounts back that were all banned for RWT/Macro. Four years later the bans were appealable.

You shouldn't of gotten a permanent ban for offensive language. :S
It's usually a mute, or multiple offenses a temp ban, consistent reports will get you a perm, however you have stated on only offense, I'd email jagex in this scenario.

Perm bans used to be for over 10 blackmarks or whatever, but you could have over 10 and be on a last chance. These days you can even get a temp ban for macroing, so saying an email isn't going to fuck your account up.

 

Jagex is generally very slow on appeals. Sometimes, you will get lucky and have a quick appeal process, but generally speaking you will have to wait 2 or more days.

 

People who are members get priority in appeals. Presuming your F2P could take up to a week. Good luck on the appeal anyway.

Use common sense..

Offensive Language = Mute Pillar, not Ban...

So, you're fine - Just appeal it and it'll most likely get accepted since it was a offense committed 3 years ago and new update have happened about the bans and stuff.

 

my appeal took 1 month, can take longer that that to.

I've also sent in an appeal recently for my account banned in 07', its been 5 days for that.

 

I have heard rumors they dont read what you say. They just look at your offense and unbann or bann.. So yah this isnt the first time iv heard of a horrific appeal message sent and appealed

Thousands of appeals income to jagex and they are expected to read and detail every word ? and investigate the problem? I highly doubt they can do that...
