Banned for "sniping - Uranus" ?

I've had this RSN for 6+ months, bought it off a friend along with several other RSN's. Let me know what I can do to provide proof to get this ban sorted - getting very annoying.

Uranus - As stated, I bought this name 6+ months ago, probably more along with a handful of other names. I don't even have access to the Skype I used let alone the willpower to go through old messages to find the chat logs. I bought it from Cry AKA "L" AKA @Jolly Candy who would most likely be willing to confirm.

Sneak - I never bought this name, I got it from the name release in 2014 and sold it at some point for 500m RS3. I remember it being sniped and I submit a recovery appeal for the guy which was unsuccessful.

I'll post my old name list but don't make it publicly visible because I still own some.


I'd also like to say that I'm sick to death of clueless mods dealing with name sale reports. Tmoe is evidently unaware at the large magnitude of which names get sniped and re-sold. I can list more than half a dozen users who are currently in possession of once sniped names, most of which they wouldn't even know were sniped. It's fucking ridiculous that you're asking for proof of trades which occurded 6 months - 1 year ago, if you want evidence that can incriminate someone look at their recent trade history where they will have absolutely no reason not to be in possession of the proof. But this report isn't about them - it's about me. I'm in the same situation as the rest of the sellers but I've been targeted and banned. Now, the Skype I used at the time (now screen-named: [OLD ACCOUNT] has been long forgotten. As all of my threads state, I only use Discord. Any and every justified court in the world would agree that punishing a person for being in possession of ONE sniped name is nowhere near enough to take action. But the specific Sythe mod dealing with my case is a teenager making rash decisions because of personal thoughts/suspections. If you're going to hand out a permanent ban like in my case, find a better reason than for something 99% of the big name sellers can be accused for.

It's gotten to the point now where I'm completely done with taking this website seriously. I mean no personal offence to most mods/staff, but some of the more recent ones are incredibly clueless and my ban clearly shows why. I had a name that once once sniped (not even sniped from me) and I'm permanently banned, no chance to defend myself and given no good reason. I get that this name was sniped from the serial hacker/scammer named Basement who's been on a witch-hunt for me for years, but if you're looking for sniped names check his thread edits.

 

When did you buy the name from the user? Also, do you still have the name in question?

You're going to need to get a proof of purchase else your ban has no chance of being lifted and I hardly find it unreasonable to request proof (definitely if it allots to getting on an old Skype and going through some logs).

Also, some of the names admitted from the list seem pretty specific and hard to forget. Please try and fill out the rest of the list.

PS. I'm out of my teens and as I am working on my master's, I feel more than capable to handle your report; however, I will excuse myself from this report if you would like another staff member to handle this.

What do you have to say about reports that you and your friends have faked proofs of buying names you have sniped in order to address such issues? I.E. chats you have had on Skype which were screenshotted without your knowledge?

How closely do you work with Bonesack?

Do you have any response to accounts being created only to vouch you and bonesack for a name trade and then disappear? Or better yet, an account that logged in purely to defend an individual as of not sniping a name and as another "proof of purchase."

A: Ryan has been after Uranus and Jupiter for a very long time - I listed it as this to annoy him

A: I've never even had to provide proof that I bought a name (that I can remember) so I have nothing to say about it?

A: Bonesack and I sell names to each other from time to time but currently have no active businesses together. It's not uncommon for name sellers to work together.

A: Again, I don't know what who you're referring to as all/most of my vouches are from active users. Of my 100+ vouches I'm estimating that 85-90% are from name sales, no reason to fake vouches when I'm already so reputable.

We are convinced you are lying about the names you have "forgotten" and believe you have downplayed your relationship with Bonesack. Staff does not trust you and we have a new development:

Specifically, outside of this report, staff now has concrete proof you sniped a name, admitted to it on Runescape, and can link the conversation on Runescape to your Sythe account. Proof will not be provided due to the amount of people that contributed to this case and in the personal manner they did so. Releasing such information would put their identities at risk.

How about giving me a chance to defend myself before going ahead and covering up my thread? I successfully appealed my ban reason - which was "Sniping - Uranus". The mod who locked my old thread now claims he has new evidence, this appeal is for the new evidence. However clearly, he's not willing to show that evidence - can't defend myself if I don't know what I'm defending myself against. As of right now I'm banned for reasons unknown, the corruption and favoritism on this site is laughable at best.

So I invite a real mod to deal with this case, one that actually takes a look at the facts.

Are you aware that I'm a name trader? I literally buy/sell names on a daily basis - give me the name of this account because I can guarantee you I have no association with it/had no association with it at the time. Also, I'd like to request the date on which this occurred so I can scavenge proof of the name/account being sold. I don't appreciate evidence being withheld; the mod who handled my last case provided little to none. You claim to have "concrete" proof. Proof means nothing if it never sees the light of day.

Furthermore I've always made it a point to keep blackhat activities (name trading, swapping etc) away from my RS accounts - I never mention these in-game.

Bottom line is I provided the proof asked for and Tmoe just so happened to manage to scrape up new evidence. I'm no conspiracy theorist but it seems incredibly sketchy to me how despite how much evidence Tmoe apparently has on me, he's refusing to show any. This leads me to believe that either:
A: The evidence has been obtained via blackhat
B: The evidence isn't as strong as Tmoe claims
C: The evidence has been faked

Or maybe I'm wrong, there's only one way to find out so @Tmoe go ahead and share your evidence with the mod who takes over this case.

This sentence is just laughable. I've been through hundreds of names and you can't expect me to remember them all. If you have questions about a particular name ask me out it. And is it against the rules to be friends with another Sythe member? Not willing to comment further on this stupidity.

Your entire case is available in the SL for all of staff to see and I discussed all of the evidence with staff before issuing the final verdict. Also, you did not prove anything regarding Uranus other than you owned the name 4 days after it was stolen during a name transfer.

Next time I suggest you don't brag about sniping a name on Runescape with friends like Tristin
