Auto Resizing Images

I have seen this on many forum sites, including ones supported by vBulletin so i know it can happen. There has been many times where i open up a thread and these huge images are there that even strech out the post and take forever to load. There should be an auto resizing image so it makes it smaller, and a bar above it where you can choose to make it bigger and it will open in another tab. This will decrease lagg, and length of threads.
