    Auto Accept Java Scripts?

Hi guys, I'm just wondering because I've had a problem with Java drive byes (4 so far), but is there an option on my computer which I might of select (because I play RS/Bot with Nexus) that just automatically runs all Java Scripts?

Whenever these drive byes happen I don't click anything, and it just auto DL's to my computer.

There are such things as silent java drive bys that can infect you without your permission. However they're rare and I highly doubt you would've gotten 4 of them already, so this probably isn't the case. However, it is something to consider. Pretty sure there is no option to auto-accept all java certificates, for this very reason. I think there's an option to trust anything a certain Publisher puts out, though.

    ^ I know that I've trusted JaGex, but I think that's it.

I can recall 3 times where all the sudden the Java thing just pops up, gives the little 3 dot loading thing and BAM, I was infected with malware.

There is no such thing as a silent Java driveby. All applets must have permission unless a certail option is selected. Open something that requires Java like runescape, right click on the icon and go "Open Control Panel". Go to advanced in the top tab and expand security. Make sure the options there are correct. Expand General and the mixed code tab and make sure your settings are these

Also, view your security tab and it will show you your current certificates so you can delete and edit some.

I did this and all my settings matched yours.

Thanks for the helpful post though! No just a +1 post counter...
