I've talked to the person who was scammed, and honestly it seems like he keeps changing his story.

First I ask him what he had lost, and he said "lots" I ask him to clairify and he says that the hacker had SOLD items, Bandos chestplate, bandos godsword, and bandos tasset. There is no proof of him ever having a bandos godsword either.

Second he starts to say that the hacker dropped items, incuding a bandos tasset that he said was sold. Even on his own thread, post #32, he states that ONLY A BANDOS CHEST PLATE WAS SOLD. ( http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=709144&page=2&highlight=Badger191 )

Later in the chat he states that he had 77M to start, and ended with 56M. The price of a bandos godsword, bandos chestplate, and a bandos tasset + the dragon claws in the picture of his thread would add up to ABOVE 95M.

Soon he starts telling me that he had sold the account, and the "buyer" would of paid more as he calculated the accounts worth by gold. I don't see proof or anything of the sorts that there was ever a buyer as it was not stated in the thread, and he refuded to forward the PM's to Sin666.

Please notice that he is unwilling to show me a picture of his bank, or have the "buyer" send me, or him a picture of the items.

Firstly, He seems like a horrible person to deal with, not only because of the stubborn attitude, but the fact that as you state, he changes his mind however many times.

I say you should pay him back the 2M worth, or the difference in mid to high, whatever it is, though I'll PM Sin for the final decision.

 

It is extremely obvious that he is just abusing his loss and trying to get more worth than originally lost. You should definitely be unbanned.

 

He tried to lie about the extent of his losses, and has been banned as a result; you don't owe him anything.
