I commissioned as an Army officer on last friday, and now I am heading to lovely fort Benning GA.

I pulled a HALO while on a LRS team. Hard slot to pull.

So I've heard, shit looks like a ton of fun though! I'm slotted for air assault, air borne, ranger school, pathfinder, bradley school (follow on duty station is 1 ID) and I think thats about it for now. Getting my long tab is my medium term goal.

your gonna love airborne school... its boring as hell. make sure you work out in addition to the PT your gonna do there because their shit is mad weak. i gained 7 lbs when i was in airborne school because i was lazy as fuck.

what order are you slotted for those schools?

 

Only thing on my orders currently is IBOLC, Ranger, then airborne, however word of mouth says that Ill get a few other smaller courses before heading over to Riley.

 

thats great man. have a good time at Riley... if thats possible. if you think benning sucks you will probably become suicidial in Kansas.

 

well I only just got to benning today, so I have yet to see anything. And riley doesnt sound too bad, manhattan city is like 10 minutes away = college parties.
