    I tried to give her tears some depth and color. I don't think I achieved that. Any advice would help, thanks.

    A few things to keep in mind:

    Tears are transparent, and only show the change in light.

    Mascara runs, which would turn the tears dark.

    Really what you should have done for the tears IMO is get the eyedropper, get her skin colour, darken it and lower the opacity.

    Nice spam, buddy. At the signature, I think tears well up in the bottom of the eyes before they slide down the face.

    Yes, that's also a valid point. Assuming they have already fallen, it should just have slight highlits in the bottom of the eyes.
