Another 3D fail

well atleast I'm feeling like I'm getting better... I like the y and that's it
I still suck at mixing the bg and all that would love tips

 

I don't like the font. I think it would be better if you used a better lighting setup in C4D. Also the texture (Space stock?) over the text isn't well done. The background, if you are trying to match Kina's, I believe are smudging with what appears to be a tablet. (for more precise control)

And I'm not trying to match anyone I'm just trying to make it not look like shit.
And I've always been close to buying a tablet... I just have a laptop so I know I'd loose it like I do all of my Mouses....Or mice idk proper grammar there ha

 

Make 2 layers of the text 1 smaller then the other, but intertwined. Also make the text layer above the background, it will look nicer. Place lighting on both sides at a 45 degree angle and 1 light on top at 90 degrees. It will look alot nicer, and change the texture of the text.

 

I like the effects, but you should definitely clean them up as they fade into the background. They are cut off too suddenly and it's a little jarring.

 

It looks good tought, more practice and you'll be the master of GFX haha ;D
