    Can Amazon Gift Cards be charge backed in any way?

    Is it safe to accept amazon gift cards, when the other person just gives you the code, but doesn't email you it.

    As for the next question... Since it is only used for online purchases, how is Amazon going to know the difference one way or another if the code was just given to you or emailed to you. You still have to type in the code during checkout regardless how you got it.

    Yes, giftcard is safe. I believe you can actually apply the balance to your account as well rather than holding onto the numbers. I like to use the cards as soon as possible though, since if I don't I typically forget about them.
