'all the new rage'

okay so. last week [maybe month, time flies] a few threads on sythe were discussing farmers in druids with rune chains and rather expensive weaponry.

i have found the new chinese farming rage.
cows south of falador.

i was walking my new mauler down to chickens to no life some feathers
when i came across about 6 ranged pures, all around 45 - 47 combat,
ranging the cows. they swarmed the poor things and well. none of them
communicated with me.

it got me wondering, are people botting cowhides? are they worth being banned over? or is it a nice isolated area for people with "wrtrasgs" as their name to be safe? i think not.

anyone here on sythe botting there maybe?

 

Or it was an idiot botting an army on the same world, idiots botting at cows, or it was Satan. Who knows..

perhaps all other bottable spots have been taken by others who wish to gain value.

 

thats why you find a less populated area? it was packed with them.

 

Perhaps, but maybe the situation is relateable to the area of green drags in low level wilderness. Even with many world hops, it is difficult to find an abandoned world. And since all of the accounts you saw were low level as you say, cow hides would be the only suitable choice for "safe" cash with not too many people. And from what I've seen, the Chinese botters like to stay together in worlds.

 

do you have an idea as to why they do this?

 

If it makes you money there's a bot for it and a chink using that bot.

I've always wondered this to, why bot 3287912837 accounts in the same area?

To me that equals higher ban rate and lower xp/cash per hour.

OT:There's a free bot that kills cows in that area so maybe it was that.

 

I'm with Cartman4. Probably just some free bot that some kids decided to use.

 

it's not a chinese rage, just people who bot and don't know anything better.

 

I've botted before and got several accounts permed, it isn't worth it but if you have a safe enough bot which isn't too obvious, go for it.
