Algebra Help Needed...

Might be his first lesson of it or something, this is usually the first thing in Algebra you learn, just simple rearranging and stuff.

Gl with it, this is basically the only maths I can remember how to do with ease seeing as it doesn't require me to remember of those formulas

 

I know all about distributive property...I just have problems showing my work...when I do show my work I get the wrong answer...but I can get the answer straight from my head...which takes few min to do in my head but the work showing is my problem like 8 steps..

 

lol, ill try and work em out but im rubbish at algebra

 

6x + 84=4x -124 X=-104

12x + 108=8x + 200 X=23

-16x + 216= -8x -216 X=-52

5x - 168= -4x - 924 X=-84

18x + 138 = 15x + 12 X=-41 and a third

3(-6x + 18)= -6x -138 X=16

-5(-3x + 43) =6x -638 X=47

4(6x - 15) = 6(3x + 62) X=72

3(9x + 4) =2 (8x + 105) X=18

4(2x + 210) = 3(3x-109) X=1167

Did it in my head...might be a slight chance one is wrong...i also may have misplaced a negative sign in some ^.^;

 

I think those tight jeans are somehow responsible for your math troubles.

 

Why would he want someone rubbish at algebra, to do their algebra homework for them?

Heh wow...I'm in pre algebra and we are doing the same..

 

Here are all the correct answers (I'm 98% sure), because I checked them all in the solver program on my calculator. The ones with a tick next to them are correct. I made a error in question 4, because I added instead of subtracting, but I have re-written that one correctly.

hey u can easily check your own answers by substituting what you got for x for x.
EX.
6x + 84=4x -124
6(-124)
