Afk bandits, Botting without programs

Hello,

I was wondering about how the rules of macroing works.
I figured out a way to stay logged in at bandits with guthans (runescape 3).
What i did was make it so that it randomly clicks on my keyboard a letter (not constant because that will make u log out).

What do you guys think about this? I am not using any kind of botting/autotyper/clicker program, just letting something press my keyboard randomly on a letter which makes me stay logged in.

Any more idea's about it ?

 

I believe its anything that tampers with the original gameplay is macroing but I could be wrong.

 

That would be considered against the rules because there's no input from you at all. They accept Windows Mousekeys because it requires user input, so that's fine.
Anything that automates the game without user input would be considered Macroing. AFKing is not Macroing but I don't think they allow it, but the chances of being caught are ultra slim.

 

But they couldn't really tell that it's not me, since there arn't any programs involved i could be the one hitting up the button on my keyboard for all those hours.

My account was perm banned in 2007 for afking bandits.

I don't believe you, because I trained 75 - 99 Str in 2008 at bandits and I was not banned so no need to lie here.

 

its using a 3rd party system so you will be banned I think

 

wow i didn't know you could still afk at bandits?! how are you doing it...? i'm so out of the loop with combat and really need to max my stats :s

 

I didn't know you COUDLN'T AFK them anymore, how come? I intended to leave an account there overnight tonight! hahaha.

 

Anything that's not already on your PC is not allowed. E.g. you can use mousekeys manually to maximise exp p/h but you can't download a programme that presses keys for you. So, yes theoretically. However, I have read somewhere that if your account remains logged in/generating exp or gold while you're not physically at the computer then it counts as macroing.

 

Even if it's not "Technically" botting, your account still might get fucked up because of the amount of consecutive hours logged in, and general bot-like behavior.

@OP I'm not sure if you would get banned for this, but why attempt it? Seems inefficient.

 

You can get away with that easily. Just 6hr limit stands in your way
