Advice needed!

I recently just created a logo or rather a banner for Gold Shop.

Since my nick is symphony888. I decided to call it RS[Runescape]888.
Which is RS888.



I need some feedbacks on this. I'm really not good at adding in effects or stuffs.

 

I would take out the glows as a whole as I'm not really a big fan of them.

 

Alright! Thanks. I just prefer a bit of glow that is why I added the Outer Glow.

 

The drop shadow on the main text is a little too dominant - try making it smaller, changing the opacity, or changing the spread xD

I think the perspective of the C4D text isn't the right choice.
Instead of facing the text down, you should try to make the bottom visible.
And remove the glow ;p

 

What do you mean facing down ? So I should rotate the camera and make it look like I'm looking from the bottom of it?

One more thing - in all honesty, the pink text isn't that appealing. Try using a shade of red close to the red of your main text or white.

Looks like a big improvement to me, although not much has been changed :3

 

Yeah I didn't really change much.
I just added a watermark, turn the camera abit and put in some lightning brushes

But surely this looks better.

Most probably the red you've used on the main text xD
