Admitting you botted

if you admit you botted would jagex perm ban you or temp ban you?
imma bot a little on a level three and admit i botted and see what happens lol

just spam all over admitting you botted. :s idk i wana test this out cause my friend is saying you get perm banned.

 

I'm guessing that you would initially recieve an offense for encouraging rule breaking. If jagex can then prove that you botted then I believe they would 14, 21, 28 or perm ban you depending on how many times you have been caught in the past.

yeah they will ban you but it takes like 1 day or so

i can't imagine they would perm ban, seeing as your admitting which it better than lying and keeping it to yourself until they find out, they would most likely just give you the normal 14-21-28-perm ban, and i would say only the 14, as technically you would have only been caught once.

As for the running around spamming, maybe that might breach another rule in itself?

I would agree it's only temp and they would also catch you probably for Encouraging rule breaking I'd say. They wouldn't perm ban you because, even though you admitted to it, it's not exactly solid proof and I doubt jagex would even care enough to perm ban. Temp ban IMO.

 

I told them in my appeal of my ban that I botted, used an un leeked glitch to get myself 71 mining, robbed a bank irl and a bunch of other bullshit. The just denied it and I had to wait the 14 days. I doubt you get permed.

I think you'd get perm banned. Aren't the temp. bans only because jagex doesn't want to accidentally perm ban someone who may not actually be botting? There are still accounts that receive perm bans without temp bans first probably because jagex is 100% sure they are botted on. By you admitting, jagex will be 100% sure.

I actually did once and had forum mods in there and nothing happened to me.

 

I bet youd just get reported for macroing and then flagged by jaagex

 

On the other hand, maybe Jagex just likes to sit and pretend that everyone who doesn't admit it doesn't bot and ban him?

I don't think they'd ban you because of the possibility that it's some account you hacked, and you're just trying to get banned as quickly as possible.

 

It'd probably be considered 'encouraging rule breaking' or 'disruptive behavior', and the punishment would be a mute.
