    Addiction

This is a serious thread, so I expect you put some thought in,(after you read the entire post), before you post. PLZnTY<3
Recently I experimented with a certain something. I won't tell you if i have dealt with a life experience, narcotics, or guy that is bad news, etc., as it is very personal to me.
Any old who, I tend to like things when I try them, and if it's really fun, or exciting, I almost obsesses over it and like it too much.

My question is, does it make me addicted because I think about the thing I want to do, or is addiction something compleately different?
Thanks in advance for the input.

No one can really help you unless you open up. So far I'm understanding that you experimented with a certain drug, and it has or doesn't have to do with a real life experience or narcotics? I'm going to need a bit more information, before I can offer you any advice. If you're nervous about publicly telling everyone about your problem I can suggest posting Anonymously.

I have been addicted to a lot of things, and the best solution to help me stop would be starting off with smaller portions and gradually stopping completely.

    Addiction

Sacro - New things tend to be exciting and adventurous. I know that when I first tried weed and smoking cigarettes, I didn't stop talking about it for days on end. My mates were pretty kind to me, and saw the phase I was going through and didn't tease me for it.

You'll find that as what you're doing becomes a bit older, you mature more in your view towards that item. Now...marijuana is a treat, something that I look forward to, but only if it is there to be had.

An ADDICTION is a little bit more serious. It can range from

    1) Your mate offering you a cigarette, and you suddenly feeling the urge to smoke a cigarette.

    to

    2) "I really feel like a cigarette right now."

    to

    3) "I need a cigarette. I'm craving baaaad."

The last one is the worst, obviously, and the hardest to break. The first is the easiest to break, but you need to catch yourself at this point, or at least before point 2. Gauge what level your addiction is, or whether you're just excited because it's new and fun.

    Lol, no.
And Tezlin, that makes perfect sense. I just got to watch out for signs.

Go outside for a walk instead pick up a sport to help distract you from these things if you feel like you have an addiction.
