    My friend aaron did the same thing.

    He was running the ball, and One of our linemen accidently fell and he tore his ACL MCL and miniscus.

    It was bad.

    So did surgery hurt?

    I had a femoral block, so I couldnt feel much for a couple days. Once the block wore off, it was pretty bad for a couple days. I injured mine in football also. I jumped to block a field goal, and my teammate dove right thru my knee.

    Well i never had it that bad but i had messed up a few ligaments (football as well, coincidence?). Couldn't walk for like a week. I bet it'll hurt tearing that scar tissue.
