Account Upgrade Warning?

Hey i bought an upgrade here from someone on sythe and it was great it was suppose to be a 1month and i had bout 1 week left. Well i logged on today and it had negative credit????? i had literally 1 week left and it said i had to add more jagex points or something.....so is this cause the person who upgraded it messed my account upgrade or what??

 

Yes, whoever upgraded your account somehow chargedback payment, depending what they used to upgrade it.

WOW....that makes me incredibly sad that people can scam even that.... scammers today.....it makes me have less and less trust for people.

 

no i checked the offenses column in the account management area and it said safe and said no infractions.

 

The upgrader must have been using credit card or some kind of upgrading method other than mobile phones?...next time just make sure that the seller is using a legit way of upgrading accoutns.

 

What was the Upgraders name on sythe, if you have evidence post here on the "report a scammer" area.

Yup the seller did a charge back. No way of logging in unless you pay it.

 

He probably payed with paypal and his account got limited or he decided he wanted to charge the money back. You will have to pay the money to jagex because it was near the end of the membership.

Happened to me on two accounts. Ridiculously annoying, although i made my money back within in the 3 days. lol

 

I'm pretty sure you can get the person who upgraded for you banned if you posted evidence...

 

The upgrader used a credit card to activate membership onto your account. Unfortunately, he also reversed the payment thereby retieving his cash back.
So jagex had no choice but to put negative credit onto your account.

Next time use teamviewer to ensure they are using an upgrade card or pay by phone/sms. Buy from trusted sellers only.
There is a high possibility the credit card may have been stolen as well. Never deal with someone who uses credit cards during RS related trades.

 

So much easier if you just take the time and buy membership from PayPal. Send the money to Jagex.
