    Abortion?

I agree with Personal Jesus until its legally considered Human life its a bunch or cells so if the parent doesnt want it I dont see why it shouldnt be donated to science. Now I know im gonna have a bunch of people saying that thats cruel and sick and should be outlawed but I dont see the harm in one life for millions because of what stem cells can do.

    Abortion?

Depends on the Person you are if your young, dont think you will want a child in your life and have no time for crying and cleaning up after a baby then get an Abortion.

If you think your up to it then Keep It , Simple As That

I disagree with abortion, because i believe that u are murdering a living person, and unless the woman is raped, I would approve it, plus, I don't know if it's true, but it's said that Hitler's mom changed her mind about abortion and she had Hitler..

Anyways it's a matter of opinion.

You cannot just say because a woman is raped then she can have an abortion.

You either think its right or wrong.

I agree with Lil_Melo15, Abortion is wrong. If the child is mentally challenged or very ill then they should still go through with it... It is better to try and care/save the baby than just let it die, which could be considered murder.

Realization of pregnancy endows rights upon the fetus? What is the difference between an unrecognized fetus and a recognized one?

    Abortion?

At the third trimester, the baby's hair is growing and gaining color, the lungs are now capable of breathing air (if necessary), the baby not only is able to open and close his or her eyes, but has even got little eyelashes to bat.

A little boy's testicles developed within his abdomen, but are now descending into the scrotum.

Up until this point the baby's brain was smooth. Now, due to rapid growth, those wrinkles that are completely normal on the surface of the brain, are beginning to develop.

That seems very human like, being able to breathe? Surely that baby now has rights?

    i disagree.

if you dont want a baby use a condom or that sort of thing there hundreds of ways to stop conceving a baby

if a woman is raped then i suppose its a different matter but if your just having sex for the fun of it just use a condom >.>

What if the condom fails? Condom's aren't 100% last time I checked.

    Abortion?

Which specific characteristic is responsible for giving it rights? Working lungs? A wrinkled brain? Testicles?

    Why?

    Abortion?

The specific characteristics responsible for giving the baby rights are; working lungs and a developing brain. They are two of the key human organs necessary for survival (Excluding life support).

If a woman is raped, it is against her consent of having a baby. I am saying that if she consented to sexual activities; and was careless - not using a condom then she should be having the baby. If however, the woman and her partner took adequate steps to avoid conception but still failed or was raped, providing she has the abortion done at an early stage of pregnancy then it is alright.

    Abortion?

What of a man whose lungs have to be removed, and his body placed on a ventilator? Does he lose some of his rights because two bags that absorb oxygen are lost? What of any other animal that uses lungs?

A developing brain? What of dogs?

Is the fetus a human life, or is it not? If it is not, then abortion is always acceptable. If it is, then it is never acceptable. There is no middle ground. It either is a human life, or it isn't.

I said excluding life support. Of course if he is on a ventilator he still has rights.

A fetus is human life, however under certain circumstances abortion is required and allowed. Fetus was made from HUMAN sperm, carried in a HUMAN uterus therefore it is human.

Why excluding life support? If they don't have lungs, they're on life support, but they still have rights, then lungs clearly aren't necessary for gaining rights.

There is a difference between human life and human life with rights. A dismembered body is clearly human, but does not have any rights.
