40$

So today me and my mom we're walking to Rite Aid and I find 40$ on the ground. I pick it up and put it in my pocket. Then my mom is like "what did you just pick up" and I tell her "I found 40$ on the ground." She tells me to give them to her and she's like "we should spend it on flowers for our church." Then she says she's worrying about the person who lost the money and just gives it to the cashier. At that moment I just wanted to slap her. What the hell? Would you do the same thing?

 

wow. if someone lost 40 bucks it's their fault, and what good does giving it to the cashier do? even if someone comes around saying i lost 40 bucks who's going to believe them. wow lol.

 

You could spend 40$ on so much stuff. I don't understand my mom at all. She says it's bad to pick up money that's not yours and says that you have to earn money with hard work. What the fuck? My mom pisses the fuck out of me. If it were my dad he'll just be like "oh well, lets split it."

 

I would have kept the 40 dollars. It's the person's fault for losing it. However the fact that she gave it to the cashier is just stupid in my opinion.

I would have spent it on a video game to be honest lol. First she wanted to spend it on flowers for the church, then she wanted to give it to charity. When we got home she's like "I don't wanna worry about it so I'll just drive back and give it to the cashier." Why the fuck would you worry about it? What's there to worry about?
