I missed their concert a day before my birthday (the 23rd of October) due to a Halloween party. What a mistake that was...

all those videos got raped by Vevo.

 

Stop complaining about a few seconds, the music is exceptional.

 

I mean vevo won't let them be played in my country.

 

311 are alright, I think theres way better out there in that genre though

 

The only thing I could suggest is to search for it yourself.

Which "better bands" would you recommend?

 

Sublime, Big D and the Kids Table, Catch 22, Choking Victim, The Clash, The Expendables, Leftover Crack, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, NOFX, Planet Smashers, Rancid, Spunge, Streetlight Manifesto, etc

Ska/Reggae is probably the genre I'm most passionate about.

 

I'll start by saying i'm passionate about every genre of music except for Country and Oprah.

Sublime is better than 311, but i'll never get to see them live; I have a chance with 311 . Haven't heard of any of the other bands except for The Clash & Streetlight Manifesto, I can honestly say I believe 311 is far superior.

 

Listened to 311, they're good. But I don't think they're as good as The Clash or Streetlight.

 

To each their own. However you can still see Sublime with Rome. He may not be Brad but hes still extremely talented and enjoyable

 

Rome is crazy good, not better then Brad, but he is probably the best replacement.

311 is one of my favorite bands, Come Original is my favorite song

 

It sounds like an entirely different band to me with Rome.

"Waiting For my Ruca" wouldn't even make sense with Rome..

 

Dont forget Slightly Stoopid, The Aquabats, and Pepper.

But yea 311 kicks ass. Favorite songs would be Amber and I'll Be Here Awhile.

311 is by far one of the best and most consistent bands at producing good albums back to back to back

 

listened to those songs its good - kasabian is pretty good as well.
