I don't feel like limiting the sales to 5 would make a difference. Especially for something like a dupe where people will work together to chip in for your method and just share it between their friends so they all profit.
It's unlikely the avg Sythe user would pay what the asking price would be. But who knows, let's wait and see once I'm given a few more details.
Yeah a dupe would be worth a shit ton since people would just dump gold to all the sites but like i said they will probably put money together and start sharing the method out if it does get put up for sale.
If you are considering selling the dupe it probably isnt that good. If you can make a large amount of money / h it wouldnt be smart to sell the method and higher the chance of it getting patched. Even posting this thread would be unwise. Also, just me making educated guesses, I would say the dupe has something to do with one of the last few game updates.
Probably. I wouldn't be suprised. They mess up a few times per year where players can exploit it alot.
1. Any real good dupe would not be worth selling. 2. Most dupes/Duped gold is highly traceable. 3. Not sure about 3 couldn't think to add anything els just looked stupid if i put 2.
That's untrue. I've been part of a lot of the dupes/GP exploits throughout RS, some are patched within hours, and some are not. The last dupe, IIRC, was 2-3 years ago, was patched within a week or so. It's all dependant on how much man power one has to justify the expense. As of right now, I can't say if it's great, good, shit, or meh. Read above. P.s, just to state the obvious, dependant on the method, the price wouldn't be <$30K.
The asking price you suggested above, it would never get sold. Mod reach was SPAWNING gold for gold sites and last I heard he only made $70,000 doing it smartly. Nobody in their right mind would fork out $30,000 let alone $1,000 I think personally. I wouldn't even be interested as a gold site because: 1. It may get my buyers banned for the first time ever - would utterly destroy my sites reputation if all my buyers got banned. 2. The dupe itself could get patched at any time(buyer uncertainty) 3. You'd likely want bitcoin and right now a buyer would be better off holding $30k in BTC then buying the dupe. 4. You would crash gold prices dumping everywhere which would ruin how I make my living long-term, same with stakers, people with bot farms, etc. Making say $20k-$40k short-term off something that gets patched would do more damage to the industry then its worth. It is best the integrity of runescape is never compromised and I personally would never have a hand in it because it effects tens of thousands of peoples lives when you do.
