Well, I recently bought a Steelseries Sensei [RAW] Frost Blue. Very comfortable palm grip mouse, clicks feel smooth, scrolling feels nice. Construction seems to be sturdy. I got mine second hand but unopened for €35 including the corresponding mouse pad, also unopened.
I've had the same deathadder for the past 6 years and it's still going strong. If I was to buy a new mouse right now though I'd most likely go with a Logitec g502. Isn't too far over the top, but allows you to customize anything you'd want to (macro keys, dpi, weight) while having a sturdy build.
I would advise against razer products. Their quality has dropped drastically over the years from my experience. Mice, keyboards, audio, it's all got quite bad. I used to swear by razer but not anymore. Check out the steelseries rival, you can also use the reflink in my signature, paired with my discount code "NANO10" for 10% off
Didn't you also used to have a g9x? But I agree with Delta here, I'm currently using a G502. I think I was having issues with my G9X after several years, I'd have gotten another G9X but they've stopped production. Both are Logitech products. I've used razer before, but when I couldn't find one I liked, I gave the g9x a go and ever since I've been loyal to logitech in the mouse department.
no ive had a naga hex and a few other ones but never a g9x. honestly g502 will prob be the only mouse i ever buy again
I thought the same with the g9x till they discontinued production and prices tripled. Was really bummed that I had to look for another kind of mouse, as big of a fan I was of razer (I had their keyboard and headset), I figured I'd try another logitech. I think the g502 is the g9x's predecessor and was like the next best thing in terms of reviews from Logitech.
i would recommend you buying a deathadder which im using for over a year now without any issues. Clicking reaction is smooth.
Had 2 deathadders - both lasted >2 years before the left click button died on me. Good value for money.
Any optical mouse from logitech, razer, steelseries, & zowie will be good. I don't recommend getting a laser mouse since they have problems and are less reliable than optical mice. I've used a few mice so far: logitech g9x, steelseries rival, and razer deathadder - Out of the 3, the Razer Deathadder is my favorite mouse.
